This grand finale to our weekend of festivities will take place on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at the historic Salem United Church of Christ, located at 435 S. 9th Street in Quincy. Doors will open for an afternoon of soul-stirring performances starting at 2:00 PM.

Gabrielle Green returns to her roots for this milestone event, bringing a wealth of international experience back to the city where her artistic journey began. A graduate of Millikin University and Roosevelt University, Gabrielle is a distinguished musician, educator, and arts advocate. Her career has taken her from the local stages of the Quincy Public School Music Department and First Baptist Church to the prestigious Seville Cathedral in Spain, making her a powerful voice for cultural expression and the transformative nature of music.

The Sunday concert promises an eclectic and vibrant repertoire, as Gabrielle performs across a wide variety of musical genres. Attendees can expect a performance that bridges tradition with innovation, reflecting her deep commitment to both scholarship and individual expression. It is a unique opportunity to witness the “musicality of Ms. Gabrielle Green” in an intimate setting that emphasizes community empowerment through the arts.

Beyond her performance credentials, Gabrielle has spent the last eight years serving inner-city youth as a Music Educator and Fine Arts Department Chair within the Chicago Public Schools. Her work as a coalition builder and advocate for educational equity resonates deeply with the spirit of Juneteenth. This concert is not just a showcase of talent, but a celebration of the progress and cultural heritage that our community continues to nurture.

We invite everyone to join us for this “Quinquennial” celebration as we conclude our three-day event series with harmony and reflection. The concert is free to the public and all are welcome!
